Blazers Edge breaks down every teams salary cap position. Oklahoma City is another team that will probably not make many (if any) major moves during this free agent period simply because their roster is basically set.  After they sign 1st round pick Reggie Jackson (does this mean that the Reggie candy bar will be making a comeback?), the Thunder will be at 15 players.   They could waive Robert Vaden and his non-guaranteed contract to either sign restricted free agent Daequan Cook or another free agent, but I don’t expect any blockbuster signings by the Thunder.

Ben Kerschberg thinks Thunder are the #1 reason to welcome back the NBA. 1. Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and Kendrick Perkins. Fans everywhere should be salivating over what these three Oklahoma City Thunder stars can do together over the course of an entire season. After gracing the cover of last year’s Sports Illustrated NBA preview issue, the Thunder finished 55-27, first in their division and only five games behind the Western Conference-leading San Antonio Spurs

Kevin Durant and Lebron James flag football game is tonight at 7 p.m. It’ll be streamed live on the internet. It’ll have three cameras along with announcers. You can watch it for free here.

Oh, if you missed it. ESPN’S Chris Broussard reported:

Boston offered Rondo & Jeff Green to OKC for Westbrook & KPerkins after last season’s playoffs. OKC was not interested, sources say.

I’m pretty sure Presti had a nice laugh with his friends and loved ones about that one.

The Oklahoman thinks the timing is perfect for the Thunder’s return. In Oklahoma, the end of the NBA lockout couldn’t come at a better time. With the college football season winding down after Saturday night’s Bedlam game in Stillwater, and with the exception a handful of meaningful bowl games, local fans faced a major sports void this winter.
