There is a local artist who has a hit “My Thunder” based off our basketball team. 12’s latest release is titled “Wheels Up” with single, “My Thunder” leading the way.  He claims that this single is self-explanatory, “hence the Oklahoma City Thunder”, states 12.  This single is a perfect introduction of ‘Oklahoma hip-hop’ as ‘every town USA’ carries their own signature dialect of this form of music.

With a triple-overtime Game 4 on the heels of a single-OT Game 3, the first four games especially were exhilarating.
