We all knew there was going to be four uniforms. You had your Association (white), icon (road blue), statement (the slanted OKC) and then a City edition. If you don’t know who Conrad Burry is, you should. He’s found out what a rough mock of the Oklahoma City version is going to look like. Venture over to SportsLogos.net to see what all the fuss is on the other 10 City Edition jerseys.
Here’s what Conrad has to stay before you see the mock up:
Some of the mock ups are compiled from a general description of the uniform where the only confirmed design detail is the primary colour of the uniform and the wordmark / logo to be placed on it.
The placement of elements, the colours / design of the collar and arm-hole details may be inaccurate.
The below mockups serve as more of a jumping off point to begin discussion about the upcoming City Edition uniforms.
He also had to say this about the Oklahoma City mock up’s accuracy:
Oklahoma City Thunder – uniform colour, detail colors & word mark (though colouring may be different) and side design correct, but color /arm design unknown)
So what does this mean?
He’s gotten it pretty accurate. It looks like Oklahoma City will have a gray jersey with a yellow and gray/black slanted OKC on it. The stripes we see in the logo are integrated throughout the uni on the side.
Though this is just a discussion, I feel as if Oklahoma City tried but wiffed if this is correct. Woof.
Only time will tell if this is the real deal.
Here it is REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A MOCK UP AND NOT THE OFFICIAL UNIFORM
