Nick Young fielding interest from Thunder

Nick Young fielding interest from Thunder

According to Mark Medina, who is the Los Angeles Lakers beat reporter for the L.A. Daily News, Nick Young has fielded interest from three teams, including the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Medina says that Young is also receiving interest from the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Young declined the Lakers $5.6 million player option in order to test free agency.

“Swaggy P” would fit relatively well with the Thunder as another player who can create his own shot off the bench and shoot threes well.

This description seems to fit many players that the Thunder are perusing this offseason. As the organization is probably trying to add as much shooting around Russell Westbrook as possible to help the team win and convince the MVP to stay.

The former Laker scored 13.2 points a game while shooting 43 percent from the field. Young also shot 40.4 percent from behind the arc.
