Gay, who played with the Sacramento Kings, last season has been a free agent target for the Thunder.
Although Kanter’s tweet surely suggests the Thunder have locked him in, there is no confirmation on whether or not the team and Gay have signed a contract or verbally agreed.

Gay was also a target for the Thunder around the trade deadline during the season until he suffered a torn left Achilles.
With the Kings, Gay averaged 18.7 points while shooting 37.2 percent from the three-point-line.
He also contributed on defense well, averaging 1.5 steals and 0.9 blocks per game.
Gay would be a great addition to OKC as they need better shooters and people who can create their own shots. We invite you to follow Thunder Digest on Twitter and like Thunder Digest on Facebook.
