2016 Rio Men’s Olympic Basketball Schedule

With the 2016 Rio Olympics just days away, there is some Thunder influence in Brazil. Domantas Sabonis and Alex Abrines will be playing for the respective countries, Lithuania and Spain. Team USA will be there, too. However, most don’t seem to care about that since Kevin Durant is playing for the Team USA and there are no Thunder players on the roster this season. August 13 with Spain and Lithuania playing each other should be fun.

If you’re unaware of the Olympic format: Basically six squads in two groups, A and B, they play round robin in the preliminary round, that’s five games each. The top four in each group move onto the knockout stage, in which it’s a single elimination bracket to the Gold Medal Game.

Most of the basketball, specifically Team USA, will be shown on NBCSN. However, I’ve listed which games show up on the channel guide and if you can’t find it there, all can be shown on NBCOlympics.com and on the NBC Sports app.

Here’s the Olympic schedule for Spain, Lithuania, and Team USA:
