Thunder announce 2014 preseason schedule

Oklahoma City finally announced their preseason schedule on Monday. Oklahoma City will begin  their preseason bout at Denver against the Nuggets on October 8.

Oklahoma City started early last year as they were apart of the NBA Global Games. This year, it’s a few days later.

They’ll play multiple games as “home” games in Wichita, Kan. against the Toronto Raptors and in Tulsa, Okla. vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After playing the Nuggets, they’ll jet to the lone star state to play the Dallas Mavericks on October 10. They’ll come home four days later for their first home game against the Memphis Grizzlies on October 14. Their final formal home game will be October 21 against the Utah Jazz, just a week before the regular season starts.

Oklahoma City will take part in a preseason back-to-back on October 16-17. They’ll play at the New Orleans Pelicans on the 16th and then to Tulsa to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Only one game game will be televised in the preseason, the game against the Timberwolves in Tulsa. However, every game can be heard on the Thunder radio network on WWLS, the Sports Animal (98.1 FM).
