OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Reggie Jackson had 18 points and six assists to help the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Utah Jazz 88-82 on Sunday night.

Serge Ibaka added 17 points and Thabo Sefolosha scored 14 for the Thunder, who led 23-14 after the first quarter. Kevin Durant scored five points on 2-for-10 shooting.

Oklahoma City (4-1) once again played without center Kendrick Perkins, who is making his way back from a dislocated ring finger.

Gordon Hayward paced the Jazz (1-4) with 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting. Enes Kanter had 15 points and seven rebounds.

Jackson was 7 for 10 from the field, including a 3-for-3 performance from 3-point range. He also three rebounds in 27 minutes.

what to watch for

Big Men

Steven Adams wasn’t the best on the offensive end. However, he had 10 defensive rebounds, while finishing +6 on the +/-. Hasheem Thabeet was basically invisible, no points and just four rebounds. Nick Collison was very good though, scoring 11 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Turnovers

Oklahoma City had 15 turnovers tonight, a preseason low, which is a good thing. Ibaka and Thabo Sefolosha combine for seven turnovers and for the most part, the team in general took care of the ball.  They allowed just 13 points off turnovers, again a preseason low.

Reggie Jackson

After an off game last time against New Orleans, Reggie Jackson played great. He was 7-of-10 shooting for the game, nailing all three-point attempts. He finished with a game high, 18 points. Also added in six assists. The biggest spot is that he had zero turnovers.
