Last Time: The Grizzlies stunned Oklahoma City in the ‘Peake 107-97. This really wasn’t much of a game, and the Grizzlies dominated the Thunder on national television.

Two of the top teams in the Western Conference are set to due battle tonight on TNT.  It’s back-to-back nationally televised games for the Thunder who look to rebound from the loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. Oklahoma City fell to the Lakers 105-96, despite 35 points from Kevin Durant. Oklahoma City struggled in the final few minutes, and couldn’t score. It was their down fall.

The Grizzlies traded their leading scorer Rudy Gay yesterday in return for Tayshawn Prince, Austin Daye and Ed Davis. So, they’re a bit of a different team. I don’t think the Grizzlies are nearly as good now. However though, in their last game, Memphis is coming off a 103-100 over the Philadelphia 76ers. Grizzlies are just 3-2 in their last five games.

Zac Randolph is a rebounding beast. He leads the league in rebounding at 11.6 rbg. The Grizzlies can defend with the best of them, giving up just 89.5ppg. That’s tops in the league. They’re struggling to score points though. They’re on the bottom five of the league in scoring, just ranking 26th, averaging 93.4ppg.

Thes two teams have met 16 times in the regular season since Oklahoma City moved from Seattle. The Thunder hold a 9-7 advantage. The Thunder are 4-2 in their last six meetings vs. Grizzlies. Oklahoma City is 4-4 in games in Oklahoma City since the move. If you count in the playoffs, we all do, Oklahoma City has a 13-10 lead. Oklahoma City beat the Grizzlies in the 2010 playoffs 4 games to 3 in the second round of the playoffs.

On the health side of things, Mike Conley is questionable for the game tonight. he’s missed a few games with a rolled ankle. Also, Quincy Pondexter is out for tonight’s game with a knee injury. When healthy, he was pretty solid. Also, might not see Daye and Davis play tonight, either.

Oklahoma City has no injuries to report.

Keys to the Game

Turnovers
Oklahoma City is second to last in turnovers at 15.8 per game. It doesn’t help that Oklahoma city is in the middle of the league in forcing turnovers. Grizzlies are middle of the road in taking care of the ball, but they’re third in the league in forcing turnovers. Could be tough for a victory to be had tonight, Oklahoma City will need to take care of the ball. This applies to everyone, not just Russell Westbrook. If Kevin Durant turns it over six times tonight, we may get blown out.

Thunder Money Ball!
The Grizzlies are just pretty average at defending the three. Oklahoma City can drain the three, especially at home. Oklahoma City is shooting 44.1 percent from deep at home. The Grizziles on the road? Just 32.8 percent. Let’s see if the Thunder can keep it up.

Offensive Rebounds
Memphis, the number two offensive rebounding team in the game, They can get the ball with the best of them. Oklahoma City on the other hand, one of the worst. The Grizzlies are also one of the bests at not allowing opponents offensive rebounds. Also, Memphis is averaging 15.3 second chance points, allowing 12.2. Oklahoma City averaging 12.9 second chance points, allowing 17.9. Some how, OKC needs to make all these numbers flip flop.
