Through an official report released by the Thunder, James Harden is listed as day to day.
Here is the release:
OKLAHOMA CITY, April 23, 2012 – James Harden continued to undergo tests today in Oklahoma City that followed NBA protocol for the concussion he suffered in yesterday’s contest against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Harden participated in a series of limited activities per NBA guidelines, but has additional steps that must be taken under the league-mandated concussion policy before he can make his return to the court.
He will be re-evaluated tomorrow and is currently listed as day-to-day.
Basically meaning I doubt we’ll see James Harden against the Nuggets or the Kings.
Harden flew back with the team last night, met with team doctors this afternoon.
With 1:39 left to go in the first half of the Thunder’s double-overtime loss to the Lakers, Harden was struck by an elbow by Laker’s Metta World Peace.
Harden immediately fell to the court and stayed down while play was stopped for several minutes as referees separated Lakers and Thunder players who were arguing and a flagrant 2 ejecting made after the collision was reviewed on a video monitor at center court.
