Thunder Trade Byron Mullens to Charlotte

Sam Presti is starting to do his thing again. Thunder trade Byron Mullens to the Charlotte bobcats for a future second round pick. Mullens was very deep on the depth chart and was most likely not going to see the court this season. This brings the Thunder roster down to 14 players.

Mullens averaged 5.3 minutes per game with the Thunder in 26 games. He only averaged 1.5 points per game with 1.3 rebounds.

League rules allow Oklahoma City to also receive a trade exception of approximately $1.38 million, which is Mullens’ $1.28 million contract plus an additional $100,000.
