Nate Robinson will no longer be apart of the Oklahoma City Thunder as a report came late Thursday evening.
Robinson’s agent, Aaron Goodwin, said Thursday night that Robinson will remain in his native Seattle while the two sides search for a solution.
General manager Sam Presti said in a statement Thursday night that it’s “unlikely he will have an opportunity to contribute on a nightly basis” for Oklahoma City, and the team is working to clarify his status for the future.
Robinson was dealt to Oklahoma City with Kendrick Perkins last February in the trade for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic. Robinson saw the court very sparingly while with the Thunder. Robinson was 4-15 shooting while committing fouls. In the playoffs, Robinson was just worse in the playoffs, 2-7, while going 0-3 in the conference finals against Dallas. Dallas’s JJ Barea also ran passed Robinson on defense multiple times in the game.
You might remember this summer Robinson was arrested for urinating in public while in New York.We invite you to follow Thunder Digest on Twitter and like Thunder Digest on Facebook.
