Thunder Release Preseason Schedule.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have released their preseason schedule for the upcoming season. Again, the schedule is tentative on whether or not we have a season.

• Oct. 12 at Utah, 8 p.m.
• Oct. 14 vs. Charlotte, 7 p.m.
• Oct. 16 at Dallas, 6:30 p.m.
• Oct. 17 vs. New Orleans (at Wichita, Kan.), 7 p.m.
• Oct. 21 vs. Denver (at Tulsa), 7 p.m.
• Oct. 25 at Phoenix, 5 p.m.
• Oct. 27 vs. San Antonio, 7 p.m.

We are less than two months away from the preseason game. NBA and the NBAPA need to get on the ball.

My Plan to Solve the NBA Lockout – BRI edition

Before we get into the specifics of my plan, let’s get up to date on the current state of the lockout. I wrote a two-part CBA primer in June that provides a great background on the main bargaining topics (just click Part One & Part Two).

Back in June the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) and owners had a series of meetings to hopefully prevent the lockout before the July 1st deadline. Obviously those meeting were unproductive because we are now seven weeks into the lockout. Read More

Thunder planning off season workouts.

Lock out or not, the Oklahoma City Thunder are getting prepared for the upcoming season. Nate Robinson told HOOPSWORLD that they are organizing off season workouts in late August or early September.

“Guys have called each other to figure out where we can meet and hang out,” Nate Robinson told HOOPSWORLD. “We want to get some good workouts in, hopefully soon. We’ll probably have guys come in around late August or early September to get it going and start playing.” Read More
